What I wore #015 // Go Green

Dress* - Scala via Wish Want Wear, Shoes - Primark, Lipstick - Topshop  Velveteen (post here)

I'm not going to lie guys, I may have fallen in love with this dress when I first tried it on.
Wish Want Wear are a designer dress and accesory website which is such a great concept. It allows you to pay such a small amount to hire and rent out  a designer dress for a special evening at a fraction of the rrp. Originally starting up in 2011 with an array of designers to choose from such as  Temperley London, Sass & Bide, M Missoni, Just Cavalli and Halston Heritage. There was such a choice that I struggled to choose what dress I liked the most. Alas, I whittled it down to my top 5 and asked a few friends  their favourite and this beautiful emerald Scala dress won (boy mates were even asked and this was chosen, double win) This was the only colourful dress out of all the dark ones I chose, I know I know. I'm so glad I ended up choosing this as I felt the bright colour of this really stood out with super winter pale skin right now, it just brightened up the day and the beautiful sequins sparkled gorgeously in the sunlight, I felt rather magical twinkling around like a disco ball.
The cut is so so flattering also. It has almost corset boning on the waist and subtle bra cups so everything gets in and stays in place, figure hugging any body shape absolutely perfectly. Especially nipping you in at the waist, always love a dress that does that nicely. I also like the length, it was just right but not too short or too long to ruin the little mini party dress.
I was a little un-sure what size to get this in because I wanted it to fit me nicely, they also have a stylist on the website to offer advice (super handy) Luckily they can send you a free extra size, how brilliant is that?! For anyone wondering who wanted to order this dress; I ordered a size 8 and 10 and the 8 fit me perfectly.

The only downside is having to send your beautiful dress back to Wish Want Wear, I fell in love with this, and it's un-usual because it's not a style I would go for but oh it's love.
I love the idea of being able to hire a special occasion dress, especially if I were ever so lucky to go to a rather lovely cocktail party or formal event, no need to spend £100's when you'll no doubt pop it to the back of your wardrobe, not to be seen for a couple of years!

Do you like this idea? Hope you have a lovely day!

Disneyland Paris on film

I've always loved film cameras, my mum pretty much used one my whole life up until last year for all her ~life capturing moments~ until she decided to use my digital, and it's rubbed off on me. Even though I love the high quality images, I actually love film so much and I don't want printed and film photos to go out like the media is of late. Wish it wasn't so pricey to get developed! (If any of you know a good place to get your film developed for a reasonable price, please let me know!)

Of course I got my films developed as soon as I could when I got home from Paris. I love how you just don't remember what's coming back, you take the shot and that's it and the un-perfect perfect look of them, I just love them.

I'm so happy with how they turnt out, I really casually just took these photos without really thinking while wandering around the park. I'm so in love with the top photo of the girls 'unexpectedly' turning round in-front of the castle, and the bed photo which was actually the first ever photo I took of this trip, after our 9 hour coach ride we discovered our energy and excitement of realising we were in Paris together, jumping on the bed. That was before we managed to mess up the electrics in our room, attempt to find a kettle and go on a man hunt for extra pillows!

I wish I could go back on this trip again, it was so so lovely.
Pretty decided on the fact my summer will probably all be documented on film rather then digital this year, so in love with the film look.

What I wore #014 // Polka Dots

Hat - Shop in Brighton, Top - New Look, Skirt - Forever 21, Boots - EBay, Coat - Primark, Sunglasses - Primark, Lipstick - Mac 'What Joy!' (Limited Edition, Christmas Collection)

Me and my polka dot love is still going strong and I absolutely love how floaty it is.
This weather has made me so un-descisive. It's lovely and sunny but still not warm enough to brave outside with out a coat, this little boyfriend style blazer coat I picked up ages ago in Primark is ideal and light enough for my un-decisiveness, it's been a staple!
I've also re-fallen in love with these heeled chelsea boots from EBay which are such a nice mid heel pair of boots to slip on with nearly everything for a bit of height!

Hope you are all well! I'm currently surrounded in deadlines and stressing out, with a cup of tea in one hand no doubt.

Disney Land Paris

Last weekend our class hopped on a coach for 8 hours and arrived in Paris, not only Paris but Disneyland!
We were going along for a conference, but of course we had time to have lots of fun in the park. I haven't been to Disneyland since I was a child, so coming along with a group of my closest friends to enjoy it with now i'm older was literally the most amazing trip, ever.
I thought I would put together a few of the photo's I took, I uploaded a few on my Instagram here over the duration I was away also.
For once, I went on holiday with just my little digital camera and a disposable (post up once I get those developed!) I felt a bit lost with out my slr to capture the dreamy moments. I found I was having too much fun to be fussed about taking that many photos, major Sam shock.

My new favourite skincare item // Argiletz masque d'argile blanche

Available here €2.90

I'm home from Paris, yay!
What better way to get back then to write a post on one of my favourite french skincare products.
Introducing my new favourite skincare product at the moment. Argiletz white and pink clay face masks. I randomly picked these up in Paris back in October as a substitute for the Cattier clay I originally intended to purchase.

I cracked open the blue tube which is the white clay mask first. I'm so in love with this mask.
I'll admit now, I really do not like face masks in general. I remember as a kid it made you feel grown up and pampered on your girly sleepovers, but I hate the sticky, stiff and hard feeling of them and then the torturous task of trying to get the stuff off of your face, pampered was definitely not the feeling I used to feel after completion.
With this however, it is the total opposite.
I apply it on dry skin with my fingers, gently applying it all over my face and down my neck, you could even apply it on your decolletage if you so wish to.
According to the tube it 'softly cocoons your skin to reveal the beauty of your complexion, leaving your skin looking alive and radiant' and yes, for once what it says on the packaging is correct.

After the ten minutes is up, I take one of my cellulose sponges which are available from most pharmacys and Superdrug etc, and soak it in luke warm water and take to the task of gently removing the mask. I find taking clay masks off with these type of sponges are much more quicker, easier and importantly, more gentle. It comes off with ease and there was no mess or long time tackling to take it off.

I continued on with my usual skincare routine after patting my face dry. Applying my Caudalie beauty elixir, Caudalie serum and then my Embryollise moisturiser.
After drying my face, and also on the next day I noticed how glowing and healthy my skin looked. I couldn't stop staring at it and it was all down to this mask, the glowing claims were right. I also found my skin looked clearer, cleaner and fresher and was velvety soft.

Argiletz recommend using this once a week, but since I now need to limit my usage as it's much cheaper to buy in France then it is over here I will only use it every other week and switch between the pink and blue tubes.
I picked up another of each when I went to France Wednesday as it's much cheaper at only 2.90 euro!! craziness as it's such  an amazing, natural product. It only has two ingredients, being kaolin clay and water. I also like that it is suitable and gentle enough for nearly all skin types. I think, Hannah and Amy both bought this and us three all have totally different skin types, so time well tell, to see if it works for us all!

I managed to even tempt Amy to purchase a tube when us girls went pharmacy shopping Wednesday, as I really do love this product. I also had a lovely chat with one of the pharmacy ladies who served me who asked if it was any good as she had heard a few people mention it. Yes, I may have also managed to sell it to her as well, oh if only I worked on commission for this clay mask people.

In all honesty, I would recommend anyone to try this mask out if they have the chance too as it's amazing and leaves your skin looking gorgeous and fresh.
I have linked above an Amazon seller, It's a tough one to find a stockist as it's french but definitely worth picking up a few tubes if you ever pop over to Paris (as if we need an excuse to pop over to the wonderful city!)

What I wore #012 // Glitter in your veins

T-shirt - H&M, Skirt - Topshop, Sunglasses - Primark, Clutch bag - Primark, Shoes - Asos via EBay,
Necklace - EBay, Ring - Pandora, Watch - Was a present

Introducing my new addition to the wardrobe (and by new, I mean I bought it before Christmas with Erebi yet haven't had the appropraite time to wear it yet) It's gorgeous, gorgeous and perfect. I was resisting it's hypnotic glittery beauty but as soon as I was persuaded in to trying it on, it had to be purchased, ok?
I love it so much, it's probably one of my top 3-5 item's in my wardrobe at the  moment, If only I could wear it every day, ah.

You all know my love for these shoes as well so let's just leave those in my 'also love alot' pile!

Hope you are all well, I'm currently chilling in Paris, Disney land with my bestest bud's (expect lot's of photo's in a post when I get back!! I'll be posting on my Twitter and Instagram while I'm away If you wanted to follow me on there, that'd be lovely.)
