Ebay Thing's #6

I always manage to throw in some galaxy or studs in these, oop's. I was really happy when I spotted the Versace inspired lion necklace on good ol' Ebay as I saw this on Asos Marketplace last year and wanted one, I just wanted to find it cheaper. I will probably be ordering this as I'm loving statement necklaces recently. I also love the eye ring's a la' Topshop which I never actually picked up when they were in store, plus some heart shape sunnies could be rather appropriate when summer make's an appearance. I'm so tempted to order everything from this wishlist but resistance is needed!

Cream Egg chocolate brownies

There seem's to have been a spot of a cream egg brownie phase all over twitter recently so I thought I would join in and make some super yummy brownies with an Easter twist. Incredibly calorific- yes, but really chocolatey, fudgy & gooey. I followed a normal chocolate brownie recipe from a book an ozzy friend sent us (which is dedicated solely to chocolate recipes, mmm) and then threw in the cream eggs. Most people cut one in half and put them in but I did quarters. My cream eggs actually sunk into the brownies as they rose and cooked. Still tasty, melted and gooey in the end result though. They're quite sickly so I only had half of one square.

Have you tried making these?

How I store my Nail Polish

Clear acrylic stand - Here & Here

I originally bought one of these stand's to store my nail polishes around 2 years ago because my obsession with polish was getting a little hard to store. Each of these holds 30 bottles (depending on the size of bottles) so I ordered another, I still have load's that I'm un-able to fit in these but thought I would do a little post on how I store them.
I love acrylic storage, I also have it for my make-up (post here) and that I can easily display and pick my polishes without them being hidden away in my old boxes (my old storage) the ocd in me 'tries' to store them in brand, colour and type order. Glitters, pinks, special effects (cracking etc) and base/top Coats.

Because I brought them so long ago the Ebay Seller is no longer stocking them but the one I listed above is the exact price and type I have.

Do you like my acrylic stand? How do you store you polish?

Ebay Thing's #4

I really enjoy writing up these posts as I seem to be obsessed with browsing eBay so it's nice to share a few favourite's.
I actually have the necklace version of the rivet bracelet and it's really decent quality so may have to purchase the bracelet too. I also still love the clear clutches (tempted to diy it) but I'd feel so odd with everyone seeing my stuff. I also love the penguin blouse which is similar to what was on Asos. Studded nail's are also a really nice touch to a manicure so I want to try some!

I may not quite be able to afford a Celine bag but a dupe could do for the time being.

What is your favourite out of the wishlist?

On a different Planet - What I wore

Denim shirt - Topshop sale (years ago), Vest - Matalan (similar here), Belt- H&M, Skirt - Miss Guided, Shoes - EBay, Sunglasses - EBay

I took this the other day when it was warm sunny and very much felt like spring but right now I'm sitting with a mini snow blizzard going on outside, oh how the weather changes. I brought the top way back in October to wear for summer, it has huge split's down the sides so the weather has been far from appropriate until that sunny day but I still popped on my 'denim?' button up from Topshop which I brought so many year's ago in the sale I must have been 14-15. Of course pairing with my current favourite boots and sunglasses. It was such a lovely sunny day I even wore this (with more appropriate shoes) for a stroll down the seafront which was so nice, it felt so much like summer was arriving, doubting it now, brrr!

I had a bit of a change up with my layout, just when I'm content with it I have one of those 'let's change everything' moment's. But I just tweaked it and added a new header. Do you like it?

You may have also seen that Company style award's nomination's have begun via all the twitter & blogging world. I originally wasn't going to enter but the lovely Abby tweeted me and I thought I would.

To even be nominated would be amazing. If you have a mo' I would love it if you nominated me, it only take's a few minute's here or click the badge below. I was un-sure what category my little blog would fall into but I thought possibly Best use of photography?
Thank you so much if you do nominate me, I really do appreciate it!

Ebay Thing's #3

I really love this rose ripped jumper and it's such a good price if you don't want to splash out on the Wildfox one. I also seem to be liking flat form's alot lately too, I really want to get a nice bright colour for when summer arrives.

P.s- how cute is the cat ear bowler hat!

Tea for you & tea for me

Being the lover of cooking I am I decided to bake up some scone's, make some triangle sandwiches (minus the crusts of course!) and have a mini tea for my nan's 98th Birthday.
My nan is one of the most wonderful and loveliest people I've ever met, the fact you can leave her when you pop in a shop to come back and she's made lot's of new friend's is one thing. But all through growing up and as a little girl I just loved spending time with her so much so I'd stay over for day's in half term instead of the 'one night' and build a den, make food and eat underneath it with her. I personally love the 'hand' shot which my mum took yesterday for reason's I can't quite put my finger on, 80 year's age difference. Just wanted to post up a few photo's!
