My much loved MUA Heaven and Earth palette

£4 (Superdrug)

I know, I know... I'm a little late to be blogging about this little beauty. This was literally on every blog when It came out and I can now see why it's so loved. It took me quite a few month's to finally pick this little gem up though because none of my local stores stocked the Pro range. I've been using it nearly every time I've worn make-up since I brought it before Christmas, so I think It finally deserves it's own little post!

I mainly use this palette for highlighting and lining shade's, mainly because some of the brown's are way to bronze and golden for my super pale skin to wear as day colour's. In many photo's including mine above this tend's to photograph paler then it is, in person it's darker but still as gorgeous.

This a great palette to just throw in your bag, you can instantly update your look on the go with a darker shade ready for the evening. Many people named this the cheaper dupe of Urban decay's very well known ''Naked palette" which I haven't got so i'm not sure. Even if you only like a few of the shade's from the palette, £4 for 12 shade's is incredibly good. The shadow's do not feel 'cheap' which is always a plus. They all have shimmer so girl's who prefer matte shade's may not like this, one or two of them have bigger pieces of glitter/shimmer in which I tend to miss because it fall's in my eye's, and just irritates them.

I'm sure everyone can find their perfect palette, MUA have 8 to choose from- and even a 24 shade palette too. I'm definitely going to be looking at investing in some more palettes.

Luckily MUA have recently opened up their own website with all their product's available to buy so now people who un-fortunately can't get to a Superdrug store can order. I know many American's wanted to get hold of these palette's, I'm not sure if they ship out of U.K but it's worth a look.

Do you have this palette?

Week in photo's 18th-25th March

L-R 'Rather amusing newspaper', Blogging in the sunshine, Coupon's,Topshop treat, New Budget,Out of this world legging's,Cutest cat ever, going for the 60's flick.

Had no time to do a weekly round up post last Sunday, apologies! My new website has taken up most of my week if i'm honest. Managed to finally plan and photograph thing's for blog post's this week which I'm happy about, had a few day's of not knowing what to post but realised that there's load's of my favourite product's I use every day I haven't even posted on here before. Also found the nicest spot to take photo's and spent hour's in the sunshine blogging outside, yay!
Finally purchased the pair of space legging's I've been after for age's, not quite Black Milk but close enough.

Have a nice week!

A glossier dupe for Mac's Please Me lipstick?

Left: Mac 'Please Me' Right: Rimmel 'Rose Blush 810'

Even though Mac's Please me is such a beautiful pink and my ideal shade, it really doesn't get as much use as I'd like it to, mainly because it's matte and they really dry my lip's out.  This Rimmel lipstick was actually one of my first lipstick's in my collection funnily enough and it's my go to mainly used lippy!
I'd basically describe Rimmel's as a glossy and slightly... only slightly darker then Please Me. I only recently realised how similar they are.
I tend to apply 'Please Me' and then layer 'Rose Blush' over the top, But more commonly I just use Rimmel on it's own.

Have you tried either of these?

Kourtney Kardashian cat eye glasses for less

Ever since I saw Kourtney in her cat eye sunglasses I've wanted to get a pair, but at nearly £300 for her pair by Tom Ford, I wanted to pay quite a lot less.  Kourtney wear's them quite alot in their show's which just proves how versatile these pretty sunglasses are. It's was a bit hard to find similar one's on the high st because they tend to not make them go up as high but I found some perfect one's on ebay, and for only £10? bargain.  Predict these will be in lot's of shop's for this summer!

You can pick up your own pair here, so cheap too!

Mac by Request

Mac has a new limited edition coming out soon, but this one is very different to normal limited edition collection's. This is a collection of favourite limited edition item's.  I'm actually really excited for this, mainly because most of the item's they're bringing back are one's from  the end of the 90's and start-mid of the 2000's, I was only a little first year in school, and for some I would have only been 5... wow! I didn't even know who or what Mac was back then.

Moth Brown as seen in Madame B. (March 2005)
Solar White as seen in Cool Heat (June 2008)

I'm not a huge lipgloss wearer, I own one which I wear once a blue moon- but... Cult Of A Cherry look's absolutely lovely & I imagine even more beautiful topped over a red lipstick.
I also love Emancipation or Icescape.
Pick of the eyeshadows: Moth Brown, Solar White, Jeté
Candy Yum Yum stuck out to me as soon as I read about this, I remembered I saw Kelly Osbourne wearing it age's ago but never knew it was L.E, so i'm definitely picking this up! I couldn't find many other swatches of lipstick's.

I doubt most of my 'favourite's' I've listed will get voted but here's for hoping! I've seen Moth Brown is a bit of a favourite amongst blogger's, from swatches It look's like the perfect brown.

Voting will be from March 12th-30th  on Mac's facebook page (International) and then will be available in North America in August and internationally in the fall.

So we have to wait quite a few month's, but it'll be worth it. This is such a brilliant idea by Mac. I'm wondering if they'll come out with a special packaging for it all, if it will be normal black packaging or what they came out in L.E before?

Will you be voting? What's your pick's?

Eyelash Palace false eyelashes review

Recently I was sent some false eyelashes by Eyelash Palace to try out and review. Now even though i'm an "Essex Girl" I only tend to wear lashes on a special occasion. The best bit is the really good prices, the highest price for a pair is £1.50... amazing?!  I've only ever used Eylure lashes when I've been to parties and I tend to just throw them away after one use, but at £5 it can get a bit pricey just for one use, so these would be handy!
Apologies now for the very picture heavy post!

I've decided these are my favourite of them all, usually it take's me a while to get lashes just right and close to the lash line but these went on so effortlessly and curved to my eye shape perfectly. Some cheap eyelashes are very 'plastic' but these aren't and I would definitely re-purchase these, just the perfect length.
I couldn't find a number or name on these.

I would compare these to the first pair, they both have the long & thin but thicker and more 'stand out'     These would look lovely just on their own for an evening out, they really define the eyes just nicely.
For people not used to wearing lashes, these may feel a bit weird at first but the feeling goes, it's just because they're thicker.
I couldn't find a number or name on these.

These are so preety when you look at them, especially with the criss cross of the lash. However I found these the hardest out of all of them to put on, they were a bit tricky to stick on because the lash band is quite 'straight' if that makes any sense, so you need to take time to curve them to your eye shape, especially the end. Once they're on they look really preety and quite natural, it just takes a little bit of patience!

These are super long and full! I never usually wear such full lashes. But after wearing them for a few minute's I got used to them and loved them, you really could just go out wearing these without wearing a dark eye and your eye's would stand out beautifully. Even though I loved every pair, these are my second favourite, especially for a night out!

I can't believe these are so cheap, they really don't look or feel it. Definitely a brilliant bargain.
Would you try these, what's your favourite?
